Small Business and Inclusive Procurement presentation and pre-read materials presented by Next Street

Ahead of this session, RIGN members should consider the following questions:

  1. Connections and alignment: In general, how—and how much—have small business initiatives in your cities intersected with regional procurement efforts and supply chains?

  1. Your ecosystem: What do you think of as the 2-3 most important features that define your regional ecosystem for supplier development (specifically) and inclusive procurement (more broadly)?

  1. Your role: What exactly is the role(s) your organization is playing, or seeking to play, in your regional supplier and procurement ecosystem? Consider the distinctions between convener, incubator / innovator, direct service provider, etc.
